My boiler stopped working and the boiler engineer has just been and checked the boiler and the meter and says that there is gas supply into the meter but not out.

OVO is closed until Monday. Do I have other options to get it working again before then?

If… and it’s a big IF… the engineers have decided that your house is indeed one where you require a dual-band SMETS2 Gas Meter, (with 868MHz pseudo-Zigbee for the Home Area Network ) then the delays will not be solely due to lack of a gas meter.

Such an exchange would also require a replacement Communications Hub . Those belong to, and are supplied to OVO by, the Data Communications Company (DCC).

I mention this now because the remedy for your may not be solely within OVO’s sphere of influence. So few dual-band Communications Hubs for the Northern Territory will be required, that they will probably not be an off-the-shelf item.
