I’d say have a chat with Ohme - they can probably fix this on their end.
I messaged Ohme myself about this, this morning. They advised ‘ The tariff will update automatically, and you’ll only be paying the rate agreed with Ovo. Please let me know if this doesn’t update.’
So just keep an eye on it I guess. Ovo have correctly credited my charge at 7p / kwh for this mornings charge.
Keep us updated @cookie9000, if you have any issues i’ll raise this to the smart home team
I also have this problem. OVO site correct at 7p, OHME app still showing 10p.
@Emmanuelle_OVO Hi, wondering if anything should be raised, appreciate on the ovo website the price is correct but I use the Ohme App more and it will not update to the new price. I've contacted their own support and they advise it should update from OVOs side and to reach out if not
Same issue here. Whilst OVO is charging the new 7p I'd like that reflected in the Ohme app too but still showing at 10p. Or at least Ohme should let us manually update it
Hi @GaryxG @cookie9000 @mandsallen @Shane_G @Matt_M,
I’m told that Ohme are due to update the information shown on their app around mid November. Your Charge Anytime credits will be calculated at the lower rate of 7p/kWh for any charges since 1st November 2023.
I’m on OVO Anytime and have an MG4 EV with the OHME charge point. I use the OHME application to set my charging schedules as the MG 4 is not on the compatibility list and all has been going brilliantly.
With the recently reduction to 7p per kw from 10p I have noticed the charging session statistics in the OHME app are still calculating at 10p.
Q
Does everyone get the 7p tariff as I didn’t receive an email?
If so is there a way to adjust the tariff rate within the OHME application which I have to use as the car is not compatible?
PS 8000miles in and loving the car and Anytime.
The actual rate being charged is the correct 7p/kWh. Please disregard what Ohme is saying for now - it’s cosmetic only and they’re working on updating it from their end.
Fantastic news.
as always great reply Blastoise186.
Hi @GaryxG @cookie9000 @mandsallen @Shane_G @Matt_M,

@Tim_OVO i see Ohme have updated this rate but it’s showing as 6.67p/kWh which I’m assuming is less VAT. Which is a bit annoying given the rate it showed before was 10p, which included the VAT
Hey @Matt_M
It might be worth just double checking it with Ohme that it’s correct, and just showing without VAT, or maybe they can change it so that it is inclusive of VAT?
Sorry know this is an old thread but is all relevant to the same setup I have...MG4 and using Ohme epod.
Everything has been going fine for last few months since setup. Like above comment my ohme app also shows 6.7 p but assume its just cosmetic. All credits look OK from OVO side.
One query though (not sure if it's just my maths) whenever I do a charge the total kwh that Ohme states having used is usually about 1.5 kwh more that what is reflected in OVO calculations?
So basically appears that a very small amount is not being credited etc?
(Also why can't OVO Breakdown every charge stats on the app/ billing rather than showing total monthly amount of kwh to credit?)
Usually, it’s because the Charger might be over-estimating compared to what’s actually being used - the data from the Smart Meter is a secondary check. The other factor might be pre-conditioning which isn’t detected in some cases.
I previously had an MG4 Trophy and use an OHME ePOD smart charger too (hope I have understood that’s what you have). Following advice here and the fact MG4 is an incompatible car due to MG not allowing API access to third parties I have never used the MG iSmart app or the OVO app for charge scheduling. I only ever used the OHME app. When I switched recently to my Smart #1 I did exactly the same.
I have had very few issues with this course of action.
