How does a heat pump compare to a gas boiler? 

 

Here’s a recording of an online event that took place in March 2023, where we were shown detailed heat pump cost analysis from forum member @jason.lewis.

 

In the recording we hear from Jason about his home, the heat pump set up, and how the costs of heating and hot water and the approach to this differ when compared to his gas boiler system.

Remember that heat pump research that the Guardian were doing earlier this year? The results are in, and heat pumps have scored pretty well. About the same as gas boilers apparently…
