I have been with OVO for a year and just signed up for a 2 year fix. Over the course of the first year I paid an £80 direct debit, and in the final month of the year have gone slightly into debit by £40.
On the OvoPAYM page it forecasts my usage for the next year to be £1,122, which is around £94 a month.
OVO want to set my DD at £132 and will not allow me to set a lower amount. This seems unreasonable? I have emailed them but replies are taking days at the moment. Does anyone have any similar experience/advice? I'm happy to put it up a but, but not to £132

Most likely OVO have set that higher amount until your account is back in credit again. Once that happens you might be able to reduce your DD inline with your actual usage. Looking on the bright side we're now entering the warmer part of the year so your account balance should soon begin to grow especially as you won't need the heating on so much.
