Switched to OVO recently- Delayed Charge Anytime

I moved over on the 19th April and I'm still waiting for octupus to pass on my meter details, so I still can't use the charge anytime. I will definitely consider this before I switch again as this is costing me an extra £50 per week and if it's not sorted within a couple of weeks then the switch will end up costing more than remaining on Octupus Intelligent. Has anyone any recommendations for speeding up the process, I've emailed Ovo pictures of my meters.

Just a quick note that we have seen some say that after switching it takes a few weeks to enable the Charge Anytime option - that seems to be due to the need to have good communication with smart meters which can take a while after a switch.

I believe the system takes a little while to kick in, but when it does then you should save quite a bit assuming you charge during the day.

Hi, I just joined Ovo this week. When I log into my account I cannot see my data from my smart meter or see any account information.

 

I want to sign up for Charge Anytime but I don’t have the option to do thios either on the website or in the app?

Hi @zitwarbler and welcome to this customer forum. Smart meters take a while to ‘sync’ after a switch and so it may take a few weeks before you see your data. It’s best to keep an eye on your meter readings in the meantime otherwise your usage might be estimated. 
Charge Anytime needs functioning data from a smart meter so it won’t be available just yet

I have been with Ovo for 7 weeks. 
My smart reader has been working fine but I still don’t have the charge anytime option. 
I’ve obviously been speaking with them but there is definitely something wrong with their system. Apparently it’s with their ‘technical team’ now.
