On the 26th of September, we’ll be changing the prices of our Simpler energy and Warmer Home plans. You should have already recieved communitation from us regarding the price change, if it affects you.

We’re decreasing our Simpler and Warmer Home tariff pricing to ensure compliance with the default price cap, which is changing on the 1st of October. Wholesale energy prices have fallen between February and June 2019, resulting in the price change.

All of our variable tariff prices will always be within the price cap. This means that our energy prices will only rise in line with the cost of wholesale energy, so you will always have this safety net in place to ensure you’re paying a fair price for your energy, we’ve supported this idea from the start.

Is being on a fixed price tariff is still the most secure option, I hear you cry?

In a nutshell yes!

It gives you added peace of mind that your unit rate and standing charges are protected against potential price increases.
