A new way to pay for some of our customers!

We’re going to be contacting some of our customers, who don’t have an active payment plan and haven’t made a payment in over 4 months with us.

This is to let them know that if they are in receipt of certain benefits then we may apply for Fuel Direct on their behalf.

Fuel Direct is an alternative payment method for customers who are in receipt of benefits and in debt with us of at least £70.

Payments are taken directly from a customer’s benefits and are set up to cover consumption and to repay the debt balance at an affordable rate.

Customers that are eligible for Fuel Direct, must be in receipt of at least one of the below benefits:
  • Income Support
  • Income-based Jobseeker’s allowance
  • Universal Credit
  • Pension Credit Income related Employment and Support allowance
