of the smart meter readings always start at the first day of the month. So my bill is paid on the 18th of each month which includes the remaining days of the previous month. This does not allow me to compare the actual bill to the readings in front of me on the computer screen. My suggestion would be charge a customers, when joining , up to the last day of the month and then start from the first day of the month,this would also apply to existing customers.

OVO do offer multiple billing dates which are; 1st, 5th, 8th, 12th, 15th, 18th, 22nd, 25th, 28th of the month. Quarterly billing is also an option.
