This has been going on now and hasn't been fixed since I joined in September. I've been charged every month £82 despite me not living here for 6 months (just moved back in after an accident where a car hit my property). I don't want to keep paying when I should be in credit. The last time I asked about this was in December, they said it was a problem with my smart meter with British Gas and they were working to resolve it. Can this problem be resolved so I can start putting in Smart Meter readings? even if you have to install a new smart meter it's gone on long enough.

I am sorry to hear about a car hitting your home. I hope no one was seriously hurt.
If you have a direct debit setup with OVO, this is probably the reason as to why you are paying £82 despite being present at your home. If you are able to log into your OVO account via https://my.ovoenergy.com/login I would recommend changing the amount if possible. If not, I would speak with OVO on the phone
