Smart meter fitted yesterday - why is the In Home Display (IHD) now blank?

The 4 bars in the top left corner (signal strength from the meter?) are just flashing, and no data is showing on the screen - only fitted yesterday and all was working well. Can anyone help?

Hi @steveaduk Has anything changed in the last couple of days? The Chameleon IHD should stay on - so this sounds like a fault. 

It’s quite possible that the fault will cure itself as your new Smart Meters get commissioned by the Data Communications Company and OVO’s own engineers.

If not, then a possible solution is for a member of the SMETS Team to re-pair your IHD with the Communications Hub. This can be done remotely, without a site visit. Call them to get this checked: 0330 303 5063

Hey @steveaduk 

Just some simple trouble shooting but have you tried moving the IHD closer to the smart meter? Or trying turning it off and on again?

Yes tried both of those, lots of times.

Sounds like it could be a faulty meter

I'd recommend contacting the Care team about this so they can ask a few more questions and book you in for a faulty meter exchange if need be - 0330 303 5063.
