Why does our in home display have such a high est bill?

Hi, we had our smart meter installed on 09.02.2019 and the in home display for our Gas says est bill: £633.10. Yet, there is no way that is what we've used and there is no data for gas on the usage graph?

This is strange that a new smart meter would be suggesting a total bill of this much, @A Horwood!

We may need to reconnect the device to the network. We need to do this with you in real time, so the best way to get is sorted would be by ringing the team on 0330 303 5063.

Sorry to hear that, @A Horwood. We have been busier than usual recently that's for sure, but our call wait times have been pretty much back down to normal the last week or so. I don't believe any of the team would intentionally hang up. be sure you're calling on 0330 303 5063.
