Why is my online discount £4.70 instead of £5?

Hi,

I checked my bills from last couple of months and the online discount I receive for dual fuel is always noticeably lower than £5. Unfortunately, these are not the values I'd expect to see after reading:

I'll step in with this one, @sobol - this reward is daily. So £60 divided by 365 equals £0.16 per day (rounded down). So a month of 31 days should be £4.96. Some months will be rounded up to ensure it equals £60 overall.

The thing is there have already been full months of 30/31 days. In case of 30 days I seem to receive only 4.70 (this had already happened for 2 consecutive 30 day months) and in case of 31 days it goes only up to 4.86 which is not that far away from 5, but you may agree it is still not yet there and it doesn't really match the following explanation:

If you have a full month of 30/31 days in your billing period, the discount will be exactly £2.50 per fuel (£5 total).

At which point I should expect these missing 30p or 14p from every month to be paid to me? After 360 days? If this is the case then I am still not sure why I am not receiving online discount on ongoing basis as it is explained in here and also in your comment:

@sobol I've tweaked my original reply to make this a bit clearer. It's all about the daily charge, and the rounding up or down of this charge!
So a month of 31 days should be £4.96

Why do I get £4.86 and not a full £4.96 then? Why is there a 10 p difference?
