Why has my payment come out when I still can't acces my account online?

I got an email from OVO saying the date of my first collection of direct debit would be on 28/09/2018, and I can confirm that this has been taken out of my account. It is now 30/09/2018 and my online account doesn't say anything has happened, my account is £0.00 in credit, and I have had no statements and it doesn't say I have paid anything. It just says my next bill projection for 3 Sept (when I joined) to 2 Oct is £60, which is less than my direct debit and much more than what I have actually used. What do I do next and what will be happening with my money?

it usually takes a day or so for your new account to be set up properly. Don't worry if you end up in credit as you earn interest on the balance at a better rate than the banks
