Hello everyone,

I hope everyone is as warm as they can be tonight.

Sadly many people have to choose between heating and eating these days, but if you are on the following benefits, and live in a postcode where the temprature has hit 0 degrees or less for 7 consecutive days, you will get a tax free £25 added to your benefits.

The qualifying benefits are as follows:

You may get Cold Weather Payments if you’re getting:

Pension Credit
Income Support
income-based Jobseeker’s Allowance
income-related Employment and Support Allowance
Universal Credit

You can check your postcode on:

https://coldweatherpayments.dwp.gov.uk/

Please note the site is busy, but worth persisting with.

I really hope this can help some of you, if you have any questions fire away and I'll do my best.

Best wishes,

Tristan. 🙂
