Can someone help with my request for a refund - asking for a reading and bill but I have a smart meter?

Hi, I have a smart meter and a large credit on the account. When i request a refund the app (and the website) tells me that i have to submit a meter reading. This surely isn't necessary with a smart meter.
Can anyone advise on how to get around this so that I can be credited.

Turns out i was never billed for gas and hence the enormous credit. I'll see whether there is any money left in the pot when they calculate what is due, which i'm told may take a few weeks.

How long have you had the smart meter installed? I believe there is a certain bracket to how much you are able to refund.

I would recommend you call OVO customer support.

I've had the smart meter for about 14 months now....am presently on a 30 minute approx wait to speak to an adviser....
